Winter and Summer are distinguished by the changing of the clocks.

Noise

All I.C. Powered models must be no louder than 82dB and any change of propeller or exhaust system must be re-tested.

Height

Prestwick Airport control zone has been enlarged to encompass both our power flying field and our glider flying field. Therefore a ceiling has been imposed at 400 feet above ground level. However, should you wish to fly higher than 400ft then a request can be made to fly at up to 1000ft. You must contact the Air Traffic Control Watch Manager on 01292 511114 when you wish to fly above 400ft and must tell them when you have finished. You must also give them a contact number should they need to rescind the authorisation.
